sharmayne grace mclean is undertaking an artist residency at her self-founded art space "scythe" which is currently located within a large, gothic mansion originally built in 1893 and titled "the islington"

asides from working towards her own sculptures and performances to be exhibited at scythe, she is also curating both group and solo shows , hosting both local and international artists.

debut film in pre-production phase:

"anthesis and a warm sky"

Sharmayne grace mclean is extremely excited to announce that her original screenplay "anthesis and a warm sky" is now under works. The experimental folk-horror drama was written by her in 2022 is now amidst pre-production phases and is set to begin shooting later within 2023

the film will be directed by sharmayne under her creative non-de-plume, "Marcheline Lux" and will be partially shot in tokyo, japan as well as parts of rural victoria and scotland.
